PulseHabit - Account & Data Deletion
Application: PulseHabit • Developer: Epic Apps (Epic Apps Dev) • Last Updated: October 13, 2026
🛡️ Your Right to Deletion: Epic Apps respects your privacy and full data sovereignty. You have the right to delete all your on-device habit data instantly at any time, or permanently purge your cloud account and all associated Firestore records from our servers.
How to Request Deletion
You can choose between on-device self-service deletion or permanent cloud account deletion:
Method A
On-Device, Immediate Self-Service Deletion
If you want to immediately erase all habit records, streaks, logs, and settings stored on your device:
- Open the PulseHabit app on your Android device.
- Tap the Settings tab in the navigation bar.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section at the bottom.
- Tap "Delete All & Start Clean Slate" and confirm the prompt.
Result: This immediately and permanently erases all habits, streaks, history, sensor metrics cache, and configuration stored locally in private storage on your device.
Method B
Cloud Account & Server-Side Deletion Request
If you use optional Google Sign-In cloud sync and wish to permanently wipe your cloud account and all server records:
- Send an email to epicappsdev@gmail.com.
- Use the subject line:
PulseHabit Account Deletion.
- Important: You must send the request from the same Google email account that you use to sign in to PulseHabit so we can authenticate your ownership.
✉️ Request Cloud Deletion via Email
Turnaround: We verify the request and complete total deletion within 30 days (typically processed within 48–72 hours). We will send a confirmation email once your cloud records have been permanently wiped.
What Is Deleted
Upon processing an account deletion request, the following data is permanently purged and destroyed:
- Firebase Account Record: Your Google OAuth user authentication identity and user link (Firebase UID) are permanently deleted from Firebase Authentication.
- Cloud Firestore User Document: Your document at
users/{uid} in Google Cloud Firestore is permanently deleted, including:
- All habit definitions (names, icons, colors, targets, periods).
- All completion timestamps and historical log entries.
- All active streaks and progress statistics.
- Configured timezone and account metadata.
- Weekly Digest Markers: Your
weeklyDigests subcollection used to prevent duplicate Sunday recap emails is deleted.
Zero Left Behind: After deletion is processed, nothing remains on our servers or databases.
What Is Kept / Retention Periods
- Cloud Data Retention: Cloud data is retained only while your account is active and until you request deletion. Signing out, disconnecting Google Sign-In, or closing the app does NOT delete your cloud data, allowing you to restore your habits when you sign back in or switch phones.
- Device-Local Retention: Data stored on your phone remains until you delete it in-app via "Delete All & Start Clean Slate" or uninstall the app from your device.
- Zero Tracking / Advertising Data: We collect no analytics, diagnostic telemetry, or advertising data, so none exists to retain.
- Backups & Logs: Database backups automatically cycle and purge within 30 days. No archival copies of deleted user documents are maintained beyond that window.
